Wellplus Homecare Services is currently recruiting for compassionate, caring, positive and motivated individual to join the growing team as Health Care Assistant. It is rewarding to work with us however, we follow a rigid recruitment procedure to ensure that all our workers are compliant with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Recruitment process


As part of our recruitment process every applicant undergoes a face-to-face interview. They are then required to evidence that they comply fully with the following vetting procedures:

  • Verification of their identity.
  • Work permit status (if applicable).
  • A full employment history (with all gaps explained).
  • Two written references from an applicant’s previous employers.
  • Discolsure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (previously known as CRB, or criminal record checks).
  • Verification of qualifications and training certificates.
  • Declaration of health-both physical and mental fitness.

We want someone who shares our values and have genuine passion for the role. Full and continuous trainings will be provided while working with us.
